HABESHA RESTAURANT GIGIRI
Wow what an experience, the food is amazing. We had fried meat with potatoes, some chicken served in a hot clay pot and Sukuma wiki and cabbage in cheese. *sorry can't remember the names. But on the menu they are order number 20, 18 & 22. The juices are literally fresh press juices with no additives. The culture is as Ethiopian as possible, and it felt like eating at a friends house. The rest was okay, nothing to write home about. However they could work on demarcating smoking zones. If you are affected by cigarettes seat inside. All in all, it was a memorable experience.
Lovely service from the staff. They are very hands on and we were attended to very well without any delay. The food .....hands down best Ethiopian restaurant in Nairobi. The injera was traditional unlike in other ethiopian restaurants, portions were adequate for three of us....all i can say is the food is satisfying. The place is serene, by the garden and very homey. It is truly the best Ethiopian restaurant in Nairobi...better than Habesha Hurlingham.
